· WOMEN THRIVE TOGETHER – A SELF CARE GROUP FOR WOMEN THAT ARE CARERS (TOWNSVILLE) – Wednesdays fortnightly – 7th July, 21st July - 7.00pm – 9.00pm at the Carers Queensland office – Unit 2/56-58 Thuringowa Drive, Kirwan.
· LOOKING AFTER YOU – Self care & emotional support group (TOWNSVILLE) – 21st July – (10am – 12noon) – 3rd Wednesday of each month – at the Carers Queensland office – Unit 2/ 56-58 Thuringowa Drive, Kirwan. This group is facilitated by Jenny Russell (CQ counsellor) and it has a therapeutic element that will involve emotional support, self care, developing coping strategies and many other components that would be beneficial to carers. Art therapy, writing therapy and relaxation therapies will also be introduced into the group. All carers welcome.
