The Umbrella Network offers information and support to families of children with special needs in the North Queensland area. We are NOT a service provider but a registered charity that runs on Volunteers. We offer education, friendship and the chance to start turning your childs life into a positive and rewarding journey!

Our Network gathers all the information we can about what is available in our region . We aim to educate YOU on how to utilise the system to your best advantage. After all – YOU are the best advocate for your child.
We don’t sit around talking about Disability – in fact we rarely use the word. We are a group of positive, proactive families who want to educate ourselves and our community – but most of all take some stress away and enjoy our children!
